What TileScout does

TileScout is a free, early-stage service designed to help homeowners explore potentially cheaper, like-for-like alternatives to tiles or similar products they are considering buying.
When you submit a product to us:

  • You share details of a product you are considering purchasing
  • We manually review this information
  • We use our internal tools and web research to look for alternative products
  • We return up to three alternative options where available

TileScout does not sell products, take orders, handle payments, or act as a supplier or agent.

Nature of the service

TileScout is an experimental service provided on a best-efforts basis.

  • We do not guarantee that suitable alternatives will always be found
  • We do not guarantee a specific level of savings
  • Availability, pricing, and specifications are subject to change by third-party suppliers

All information provided is indicative and for guidance only.

No commercial relationship with suppliers

TileScout:

  • Does not represent or act on behalf of suppliers or manufacturers
  • Does not influence final pricing, stock availability, or delivery terms

Any purchase decision is made directly between you and the supplier.

User responsibilities

By using TileScout, you agree that:

  • The information you provide about the product you are considering is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You will independently verify product suitability, specifications, compliance, warranties, and installation requirements before purchasing
  • You understand that TileScout does not replace professional advice from designers, contractors, or suppliers

No professional advice

TileScout does not provide:

  • Architectural, design, technical, or installation advice
  • Legal, financial, or contractual advice

All decisions made based on information provided by TileScout are taken at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • TileScout and Stylib Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from the use of the service
  • This includes, but is not limited to, incorrect specifications, pricing changes, installation issues, or supplier disputes

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Data and privacy

Your use of TileScout is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle personal data. Please review it carefully.

Availability and changes

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue the TileScout service at any time
  • Update these Terms and Conditions as the experiment evolves

The latest version will always be published on our website.
